Representative mimotope libraries
Method
Compressing large IgOme arrays into smaller, representative peptide libraries, optimizing informatiion/library size tradeoff.
Project · Method
Compressing large IgOme arrays into smaller, representative peptide libraries, optimizing informatiion/library size trade-off.
Problem
Whole-repertoire mimotope arrays are too huge to be used for binding eaasys. Due to the many-to-many relationship, they are also redundant. Can a much smaller library preserve the information needed to classify conditions?
Method
Clustering in the space of mimotope sequences to identify a compact, symmetrically distributed representative set1 .
Result & open questions
Demonstrated feasibility for the highly degenerate IgM repertoire; biomarkers extracted for several conditions. Open: stability of selected sets across cohorts1,2.
